✦ Intermediate Moves!✦
Expectations: As an intermediate, you are expected to be able to maintain your spacings, be familiar with alignments, transitions etc!
✰ Double curls ▸ Do the stated curl (bee curls, orbits etc) twice.
✰ Reverse curls ▸ Do the stated curl in reverse.
✰ Mirror curls â–¸ Do the stated curl normally, then in reverse. (e.g ‘’Mirror Snowball right’’ > Walk curl, trot curl, trot curl, walk curl right.).
✰ Alternate curls â–¸ In the stated curl, you’d do the move one way, then the opposite direction. (e.g ‘’Alternate Bee curl right’’ > Trot curl right, canter curl left).
✰ Drag curls â–¸ Do your first curl in the specified gait, continue in the gait while riding along the track. Each curl will have a go (Has 2+ go’s, depending on the curl said).
✰ Tee ▸ Slant comb on first go, snap on second go (make sure to end your snap on a straight line).
✰ Star curl ▸ Walk curl, Canter curl, Trot curl.
✰ Box curl ▸ Comb away from your original line, but on each go, comb in the same direction every time, will make a box shape! (3 go).
✰ Combo ▸ Curl over in direction stated, curl in opposite direction, then curl over back to the original line.
✰ Bounce ▸ Dodge, but once you are straight, you curl in the opposite direction.
✰ Snowman ▸ Bounce, then straight after, dodge back to the original line.
✰ Key-curl ▸ Curl into keyhole in the same direction.
✰ Break ▸ Curl in the direction stated, then keyhole the opposite way.
✰ Backbend ▸ Curl one way then curl over the opposite way.
✰ Firefly ▸ Curl into slant comb. (In the slant comb, make sure to follow the arena lines & keep comb alignments).
✰ Bow-tie ▸ 315 degrees of a curl into a forward slant or keyhole onto the forward slant.
✰ Fish ▸ Bear but continue on the backwards slant. (Follow the arena lines).
✰ Knot ▸ Canter curl in the direction stated, trot keyhole the other way.
✰ Infinity ▸ Two bears. Opposite directions.
✰ Kit ▸ Keyhole one way, curl over other way.
✰ Kat ▸ Dodge one way, keyhole in the same direction.
✰ Ladder ▸ While in a Tier (See what a Tier is in follow moves), on the first go, curl to the outside, on the second go, slant comb towards other line, on the third go, turn straight.
✰ Barb ▸ While in a tier, on the first go, curl to the outside, on the second go, slant comb towards the other line, on the third go, snap onto the straight line.
✰ Flirt ▸ A's walk curl on the first go, B's canter curl on the second go.
✰ Carousel ▸ A's orbit on the first go, B's reverse orbit on the second go.
✰ Lense ▸ A's curl B's dodge all in one go & the say direction.
✰ Magnify ▸ Lense one way on the first go, then on the second go, lense the other way.
✰ Daisy ▸ On the first go A's curl comb and B's comb, then on the second go B's curl towards leader (x2 go).
✰ Tulip â–¸ On the first go A's key curl B's keyhole. Second go B's curl towards their line leader, there will be two go’s.
✰ Swap ▸ On go, the lead of line will curl over till they are at the end of the line, everyone must still keep trotting, once each rider has been at the start & curled over to the back, the original lead of line would be back in lead.
✰ Ash ▸ Whilst in a comb, on go each rider will curl comb, resulting in a merge.
✰ Revolve ▸ Post spilt, while both lines have combed towards each other, you will curl over towards your partner.
✰ Yin yang ▸ Whilst in a comb, coming towards your partner, you'll curl towards your partner.
✰ Button â–¸ Again, similar to a Ying Yang & a Revolve, but instead of curling or doing a curl over, you’d fate towards your partner.
✰ Fishstick ▸ Using secondary numbers, 1's will curl, 2's will follow the 1's, and 3's will follow the 2's creating a mini circle.
✰ Spin off ▸ First go everyone must halt, on the second go do a reverse/backwards curl, on the third go trot forwards.
✰ Switch ▸ Whilst in a waterfall, on the first go, riders will go on the slant arena line towards the inside, then on the second go, riders will turn straight.
✰ Pinbend ▸ A's pin and B's backbend, all in one go.
✰ Snake ▸ Comb, curl over towards lead on each go until told to stop.
✰ Squiggle ▸ Dodge but instead of two curl overs, riders will do three.
✰ Fish hook ▸ First go A's curl comb, second go B's curl comb, in the same direction.
✰ Back slant ▸ Slant comb onto the slant lines behind you.
✰ Wolf ▸ Rear, then quarter pivot.
✰ Peel ▸ A's belt in the direction stated and B's carry on straight.
